Botox & Xeomin

Botulinum type A injections are by far the most popular cosmetic treatments preformed nationwide, helping millions fight wrinkles & rejuvenate their appearance.

Whatis Botulinum toxin type A?

Botulinum toxin type A is an injectable neurotoxin, better known under brand names such as Botox Cosmetic® and Xeomin®. Neurotoxin treatments are the most popular single cosmetic procedure in the U.S. and are mainly used to smooth dynamic wrinkles, or those wrinkles that form as a result of facial movements like frowning, squinting, smiling, and other expressions we tend to make day after day. Treatment works by blocking nerve impulses to the muscles, causing them to relax. As a result, your expressions soften and the dynamic wrinkles are greatly reduced.

It is important to choose a doctor with extensive knowledge of facial anatomy, a well-developed aesthetic eye, and a surgeon’s skill and precision to ensure safe treatment and natural looking results.

Dermal Fillers

Did you know that many visible signs of aging can be traced back to volume loss? As facial tissues thin out, lines become etched around the nose and mouth and cheeks look a little hollow.

Dermal fillers are gel-like substances that are injected beneath the skin to restore lost volume, smooth lines and soften creases, or enhance facial contours. More than 1 million men and women annually have chosen this popular facial rejuvenation treatment, which can be a cost-effective way to look younger without surgery or downtime.

  • Juvederm Ultra

A well-established and highly regarded dermal filler, Juvederm Ultra XC is designed to plump and add volume to the lips and smooth out other facial lines and creases. Approved by the FDA, Juvederm Ultra XC is also sometimes used to reshape and sculpt facial contours for a more pleasing appearance.

    Juvederm Ultra XC can:

    • Help restore age-related facial volume loss
    • Provide facial contouring for improved facial symmetry
    • Restore plumpness and fullness to the lips
    • Minimize fine lines in and around the lips
    • Restore volume beneath the surface of the skin
    • Fill in depressed areas in the cheeks

Juvederm Ultra XC contains a small amount of the local anesthesia lidocaine. The addition of 0.3 percent of lidocaine provides just the right amount of numbness to counteract any mild discomfort that may occur. The anesthesia goes to work immediately, and most people report that any discomfort that they experience is extremely mild and temporary.

  • Juvederm Ultra Plus

The bottom line is that facial aging is caused by time. As we age, the body naturally slows production of collagen and elastin, the primary building blocks of youthful skin. This breakdown is different for everyone, but happens to us all eventually. However, it’s not the only reason for facial aging. Sun exposure, smoking, poor diet, drug use, illness, and some medications can also contribute to the breakdown of these youthful building blocks.

Juvederm Ultra Plus XC is an FDA-approved dermal filler used to smooth out lines in your face and restore the youthful volume that can diminish over time. From the makers of Botox, Juvederm Ultra Plus XC is just one of several Juvederm fillers that can be used to refresh and revitalize your appearance. The two main ingredients found in Juvederm Ultra Plus XC are hyaluronic acid and lidocaine. Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally produced by your body. It is a type of sugar that can hydrate the skin since it holds water, and it creates a kind of natural cushion that pumps up volume wherever it is injected. Lidocaine, the second ingredient, is a mild local anesthetic. This helps reduce any discomfort when the gel is injected into the skin.

  • Juvederm Voluma

Wrinkles and lines aren’t the only signs of aging. Over time, the cheeks flatten, and the skin may begin to sag. This is caused by a natural loss of volume in the cheek area, or what the experts call age-related midface volume loss. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC is designed to add volume beneath the skin’s surface to lift and contour the cheek area.

Juvederm Voluma is a dermal filler from the Juvederm family containing hyaluronic acid, a component made by the body naturally. Hyaluronic acid is responsible for transporting vital nutrients to your skin, increasing moisture levels, and maintaining the strength and elasticity of your skin. Your body makes less hyaluronic acid as you get older, causing you to lose structure and volume. Voluma is designed to counteract aging by restoring lost volume and gently lifting sagging skin.

    Juvederm Voluma can:

    • Replenish facial fullness

    • Lift sagging skin to regain youthful contours

    • Restore age-related loss of volume and shape to the cheeks

  • Restylane

Unfortunately, once the early signs of aging begin appear, they are not easily reversed. These can include fine lines, sagging skin, and a loss of facial volume. Sun damage, smoking, weight fluctuations, illness, and genetics work against us, as well, speeding up these tissue changes. The skin can start to loose collagen, decreasing the healthy fullness in the cheeks and jawline. Smile lines will start to appear, as do deep creases around the nose and the mouth. While there is no way to halt the normal aging process at home, we can help slow things down with Restylane.

Restylane is an innovative dermal filler, designed to plump facial tissues and restore a youthful appearance. Restylane was the first dermal filler on the U.S. market to be made from Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a natural component of healthy human tissues. As an important structural building block in the skin, HA is responsible for ramping up the body’s collagen production. The HA also naturally draws in water from the body, plumping tissues for long-term benefits. A Restylane treatment provides immediate volumizing to the tissues, and while the body’s collagen stores are being rebuilt, the benefits from treatment can last for months. This unique family of dermal fillers includes Restylane, Restylane Silk, and Restylane Lyft; each is purposefully designed to treat specific areas of the face.

  • Restylane-L

Restylane-L was the first of its dermal filler family to hit the market. It is used to fill in moderate to deep facial lines and wrinkles caused by the aging process. Restylane is best used to treat static wrinkles, or those resulting from lax tissues and skin. The injectable can dramatically improve the appearance of scars, either from acne or trauma to the face. Additionally, Restylane’s smooth and similarly sized particles of HA make it excellent for replacing lost facial volume under the eyes, across the upper cheek, and along the jawline.

    Restylane can:

    • Smooth deep facial lines and creases

    • Even out acne scars

    • Improve facial volume and symmetry

    • Sculpt the cheek and jawline

    • Eliminate wrinkles around the eyes

    • Last from six to nine months

  • Restylane Silk

The first product to be approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for lip enhancement, Restylane Silk can safely and effectively restore a youthful shape to the mouth. The small particles of HA make Restylane Silk’s smooth, creamy gel perfect for meticulously filling in the delicate lines around the mouth. The benefits of Restylane Silk are unmatched by any other product. Natural-looking full lips provide a healthy, more youthful appearance.

    Restylane Silk can:

    • Plump narrow lips
    • Improve a thinning smile
    • Eliminate fine lines around the upper and lower lips
    • Provide results lasting a full six months
  • Restylane Lyft

The only injectable approved by the FDA to improve the both deep smile lines, also known as nasolabial folds, as well as replace lost volume in the cheeks is Restylane Lyft. Restylane Lyft can restore a healthy contour to the mid-face, enhancing hollow cheeks. With a single in-office application, patients can regain healthy cheek definition without surgery. Volume loss resulting from fat depletion and diminishing collagen can see an immediate improvement with Restylane Lyft.

    Restylane Lyft can:

    • Smooth moderate to severe nasolabial folds
    • Lift facial tissues
    • Restore shape to sunken, hollow cheeks
    • Replenish mid-face volume
    • Can last for 12 months or longer
  • Restylane Refyne and Defyne

Restylane Refyne and Defyne help provide flexible smoothness to the area surrounding the nose and mouth. Using a unique technology, these hyaluronic acid fillers smooth nasolabial folds and marionette lines without hindering natural facial movement.

    Restyane Defyne and Refyne can:

    • Smooth smile lines around the nose and mouth
    • Give subtle, flexible support
    • Provide natural-looking, long-term results lasting up to 12 months
  • Radiesse 1.5

Radiesse is a well trusted dermal filler, used to replace lost facial volume that occurs with age. The thick, calcium based gel creates a foundation for the lower layers of facial tissue, raising and plumping the skin. Radiesse is also ideal for eliminating dark hollows under the eyes, creating more prominent cheek bones, filling in deep facial creases, and creating a more prominent chin/jawline. Radiesse is composed of a substance called Calcium Hydroxyapatite (CaHA). These tiny microspheres of CaHA will improve the skin’s natural scaffolding, and provide long-term improvement in the skin’s appearance.

    Radiesse can:

    • Eliminate dark hollows under the eyes

    • Create more prominent cheekbones

    • Fill in deep facial creases

    • Provide symmetry and shape to the jawline

  • Belotero Balance

Belotero can significantly improve the appearance by eliminated fine lines around the mouth and eyes. Comprised of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), Belotero will plump the existing tissues to even out facial creases. The filler will also replace lost volume under the eyes and along the cheeks. The shape and contours of healthy features can be restored after one treatment. While the benefits of Belotero are seen right away, as the body’s collagen supply grows, the results will continue to improve.

    Belotero can significantly improve:

    • Crow’s Feet

    • Nasolabial Folds

    • Marionette Lines

    • ‘Hollow’ Cheekbones

    • Lip Lines

  • Kybella

Until recently, the only successful way to improve the fullness of a double chin has been through liposuction. However, not everyone is ready to undergo a semi-invasive procedure. Luckily, a new alternative to liposuction is available with Kybella.

Kybella™ is an innovative, nonsurgical way to eliminate the double chin, dramatically improving the appearance and self-esteem, in a quick office visit. As the first and only injectable approved to eliminate unsightly submental fullness, the results from Kybella are unprecedented. Kybella™ is made from Deoxycholic Acid, a chemical naturally produced by the body, used to help absorb fats. When injected directly into the tissue under the chin, Kybella destroys the walls of fat cells. As this tissue slowly dissolves, and is safely metabolized by the body, and the tissue under the chin bounces back to its sculpted appearance. The Kybella treatment can permanently restore a youthful, contoured chin.
